Multiplicity

There is a familiarity we seek and feel with commonplace portraiture. Through duplication and mutation of found portraiture, I make these familiar images seem oddly unfamiliar. These uncanny manifestations of the family speak to the strangeness and discomfort that may lie behind the façades of those posing in the portraits.
